The entire tank plumbing system utilizes off-the-shelf Victaulic®/Gruvolk® style fittings throughout for easy maintenance. Osco trucks are engineered for quality, durability, and performance and are also constructed to handle all types of terrain. Water pump, hydraulic motor, reservoir, relief valve, and rear spray bar are pre-mounted on the rear deck.
All water tank kits can be shipped out from the factory for installation at your facility as well as installed to your furnished truck chassis here at our facility. Custom water tanks (size, capacity, and lengths) are available to meet state weight limitations and Federal Bridge Law capacities. A 2000 5000 gallon water truck water truck is commonly installed to a single axle chassis such as a Ford, Kenworth, Peterbilt, or International. When Tropical Storm Helene tore through Western North Carolina Sept. 27, it severely damaged the Asheville water system, which serves Buncombe County and the northern portion of Henderson County. Transmission lines were destroyed and the North Fork reservoir was essentially flipped upside down, stirring up sediment and clay. He gave a brief overview of the project at a morning meeting of small business owners Nov. 1 presented by Go Local Asheville, along with other area organizations.
