The replacement restaurant card turned out to be a generic "money" card, disappointing the recipient who expected a specific experience at BIG FISH in Sarnia. This ordeal led to frustration, and I've decided not to use Giftly again. I grabbed a gift certificate, thinking it's a nice, tied-up package, right? When the lucky receiver tried to use it, turns out it's just a PayPal money dump. Paid a $7 processing fee for the joy of giving cash.

My bad for missing this fine print but wouldn’t use again, would be better to just Venmo , if transferring cash is your intention. I thought I was giving a gift directly to a restaurant. It said the name.of the restaurant but when the recipient took it to the restaurant, they discovered they needed to deposit it into their account or something.
